BlightCast

Potato & tomato late-blight infection windows — the Hutton Criteria, shown working.
Live Open-Meteo fetch is disabled here — it needs the local Python engine (./run.sh live).
Static build. This page is a pre-rendered copy of the BlightCast web view. Every verdict below was computed by the project's own Python engine (blightcast.report.build_report) from the bundled historical weather fixtures, and baked into JSON at build time — the fixture chooser, the Plain-English toggle, the contiguous-hours toggle and the “explain this day” panel are all fully live in the browser. What is not here is the live Open-Meteo fetch: that needs the Python engine running locally (./run.sh web, then “Fetch live”). Nothing on this page is real-time.

Weather data: historical fixtures captured from the Open-Meteo archive (ERA5 reanalysis) and forecast APIs. Open-Meteo's free tier is for non-commercial use; this is a portfolio demonstration. Threshold: the Hutton Criteria, the UK national late-blight standard. A decision aid, not agronomic advice.
